DDA Contracted Services
Stabilization Services
Available for DDA clients' families, and caregivers in crisis situations or who have been deemed at-risk for hospitalization. This service allows families who find themselves in behavioral crisis situations to work intensively one-on-one with a BCBA for a limited periods of time. Both Staff/Family Consultation and Specialized Habilitation are available within Stabilization Services.
Staff & Family Consultation
This DDA waiver service allows you to work with a BCBA to create an individualized plan that addresses up to three goals at a time. Clinical team members may include family members, teachers, medical staff, and others who work directly with our clients.
This service may occur in through virtual consultations throughout Washington state, with the possibility for in-person meetings in some areas of Pierce County.
Specialized Habilitation
For some clients in the Pierce County area, Specialized Habilitation allows clients themselves to work one-to-one with a BCBA on up to three goals in the areas of self-empowerment, safety awareness, self-advocacy, social communication, interpersonal skills, coping skills, managing daily tasks, and adaptive skills.
Online Family Consulting
Many services will be provided through online meetings, consultations, and trainings. These can be ideal for busy families who are looking to work with their loved one without committing to a daily therapy schedule in their home. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home, with flexible scheduling that is convenient for families.
Home Meetings & Visits
For some clients in the Pierce County area, home visits and meetings may be available, if clinically appropriate. These types of visits are most appropriate for clients who struggle to relate via online meetings, but still require individual sessions to make meaningful progress toward their goals.
